Weeknotes 9-The Art of the Possible
2 min readApr 11, 2021
Week commencing 29th March
I took a day off on Monday for my birthday. I find birthdays are a good milestone in recognising how much time has passed. For these weeknotes I have 3 things to share:
- Cherry blossoms will forever remind me of these times — in lockdown days there were times where I didn’t leave the house for a few weeks. In these times I would notice change through nature. Now that the cherry blossoms are blooming it vividly reminds me of last year, the early weeks of what became a gruelling year.
- We’ve been consciously celebrating the Spring Equinox this year and I’ve been enjoying reading Lunar Living. I’ve shifted into a different mantra from ‘I can only do my best’ to ‘I can only do what’s possible’. So many things feel impossible at the moment and I don’t feel like I’m doing my best. I don’t think it’s possible to do my best. So I’m focusing on what is possible and trusting that it’s enough.
- Last year on my birthday I asked people to share words of wisdom for my daughter. Daunted by the world at that time and the journey into motherhood I felt deeply inadequate. The words I received give me strength. Re-sharing them here with deep gratitude to those who contributed.
